Hi there i’m Hils. An artisan jeweller based in Cumbria, home of the Lake District. I have always been a creative person, and enjoy any pastime that allows me to be imaginative. After leaving a career in healthcare, I found myself with a lot of time on my hands, and at a bit of a loss for what to do with myself. To try and ground myself, I booked myself onto a metalsmith course where I fell in love with the craft. After further training and encouragement from a friend, Hills and Tide was born.

Inspired from my love of the mountains and the sea. I hand craft delicate pieces in my home studio. Creating Eco-friendly minimalist jewellery that can be worn all day, everyday.
